The Fashion Design Council of Canada announced today its new title sponsor of Toronto fashion Week: World MasterCard. Held March 12th through the 17th, the World MasterCard Fashion Week will host over 60 designer runway shows and presentations debuting the Fall/Winter 2012 collection in David Pecaut Square.

Another way MasterCard is participating in the world of fashion is through Stylicity, the official retail program of Toronto’s fashion week. Allowing everyday consumers the opportunity to access high fashion runway styles, Stylicity celebrates Toronto as a global destination for fashion.
“World MasterCard Fashion Week provides a unique showcase for Canadian design talent and through our dynamic new partnership, we are excited to offer priceless experiences for true fashion lovers like never before,” said Lilian Tomovich, head of Marketing for MasterCard Canada.

Through Stylicity, consumers will be also be able to garner unique experiences such as attendance at designer events and discounts at some of Toronto’s hottest restaurants, shops and spas.
