Banana Republic and AMC have announced a limited edition “Mad Men” inspired clothing line for men and women. Coming to North American stores beginning August 11th, the collection was designed by Emmy award-winning Janie Bryant.
The Emmy and Golden Globe winning AMC series “Mad Men,” returning for its fifth season in 2012, has inspired the collection. Creating a line that utilizes a modern take on the widely recognized polished look of the 1960s era, Banana Republic is taking advantage of the highly popular show and its success. A collection for men and women of 65 pieces will allow fans to embody the style of the ‘60s in an “effortlessly chic, dressed-up American sportswear” way.
