Las Vegas, NV is host to many important conventions and business operations year round. Offering an entertainment oasis amid the hot Nevada desert, it’s no surprise many flock to the City for an everyday escape. With a multitude of conference centers, hotels, casinos, clubs and a wealth of entertainment opportunities, this month, Business Review Canada highlights the opportunities Las Vegas, NV offers its guests.

Where to Stay:

The Cosmopolitan is one of the newer additions to the Las Vegas Strip. Advertising itself as a resort that offers “Just the right amount of wrong,” The Cosmopolitan’s 52 stories offer guests luxury, sophistication and style. With urban-inspired rooms in the heart of the Strip, The Cosmopolitan’s amenities include the high class Chandelier bar and Restaurant Collection for a night out on the town.

The Venetian Las Vegas takes casino themes to a new level. Making one feel as if they’ve been transported to Venice, Italy (or as close as you can come in North America), its gondola rides down a beautiful Italian themed canal to ensure authenticity.  Luxury suite guests can expect 650 square feet all to themselves on the Las Vegas Strip. The Venetian is also home to the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) hosted in Vegas annually.

Where to Eat:

The Joël Robuchon Restaurant at the MGM Grand is known as one of the best restaurants in the United States. Receiving the Michelin Three Star, Forbes Five-Star, and AAA Five Diamond awards, it is clear the restaurant’s epicurean expertise is well recognized. Catering to a sophisticated palate, Joël Robuchon came out of retirement to open his restaurant and offers guests a menu of some of his finer specialties, specifically “Le Caviar, a trio dish of thin couscous and Oscetra caviar, smooth cauliflower cream, and delicate gelée of green asparagus.”

What to Do:

When you’re in a city that’s nicknamed “Sin City”, you’ve got to at least see what everyone’s talking about. Although potentially detrimental to your work ethic, why not stay out all night if you’re able? Remember, “what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!”

Just a few steps from your room at The Cosmopolitan, The Marquee at The Cosmopolitan is host to many exciting concerts whether it’s day or night. Offering a beautiful lounge-like atmosphere with hip and urban accents, the Marquee is perfect for any night in the city that never sleeps.
